Sanding & Polishing

There are many benefits to polished floorboards. From the aesthetic look to the cleanliness of polished floorboards. Great for asthmatics and allergy sufferers, polished floorboards will certainly add to a healthier life. Depending on where you live, nearly all timber floors will consist of either Baltic Pine , Tasmanian Oak, or Radiata Pine Floors. Those that are unlucky will have chipboard or ply. For these people, don't despair you can still install a timber floor over the top. Regardless of condition of your floor, IT CAN BE restored. Whether age or stains have damaged your floor, [some pet stains can't be removed] you can restore your floor and those that have stains, a colour change is suggested [see staining & tinting].  

•  All floors are sanded a minimum of 9 times prior to 1st coat
•  Polyurethane coatings, Water Base coatings, Oils and waxes can be used
•  IF AN ALTERNATE COLOUR IS REQUIRED SEE "STAINING AND TINTING"
